The document never leaves this page: no upload, no account, no watermark, no ads, no analytics, and nothing fetched at runtime — the two libraries doing the work (Mozilla's pdf.js to draw the pages, pdf-lib to write them) are bundled right here. Your signature is embedded as true vector ink, crisp at any zoom, and remembered only by this browser (localStorage). If the recipient insists on "a scan", as a scan rebuilds the document as grayscale, faintly askew, lightly grainy pages — the whole ritual, minus the printer. One honest caveat: this is a visual signature — the kind that "please sign and send back" almost always means — not a cryptographic one.
